Young people: You don’t have to be “observers” of the challenges in the world

How can we empower our younger generation to learn that they don’t have to be “observers” of the world’s challenges; instead, within them lies the power to make a difference and leverage what they believe in and what they learn?

I am honoured to be invited to advocate for this during the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP) SDGs Spotlight Series: Kuala Lumpur, alongside other esteemed panellists.
1. Deborah Priya Henry – Founder of Fugee Org,
2. Michael Fay OAM – Special Advisor to ASEAN University Network’s Executive Director, and Director and Head of Education Services at AFG Venture Group, and
3. Dr. Mohamed Maliki Bin Mohamed Rapiee, Director of the International Youth Centre, Malaysia

I always appreciate interacting with young people and discussing how we can contribute to the SDGs.

I am inspired by the efforts of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP), which aims to harness the youth’s creativity, ambition, and power to tackle regional challenges and areas of mutual interest.
